Old-Fashioned Green Energy

The most environmentally friendly green energy that is readily available worldwide, is old-fashioned elbow grease.

We at Redispan use no welds in our ramp fabrication and assembly processes. Industrial welding equipment is expensive, requires well-trained professional fabricators to utilize, and uses an exorbitant amount of fossil fuel energy to power.

Redispan saves energy, reduces overhead costs, and operates with a reduced carbon footprint by hand-crafting our modular ramp products.

Additionally, our ramp components fit together perfectly, and are bolted together for strength and durability. This is also why we are known as the most versatile and field-friendly modular ramp product available on the market today. Dealers and installers report back to us that almost every ramp installation involves situations that require some amount of customization out in the field, and Redispan's products make those situations completely hassle-free.

One common example are lawn sprinkler heads. Often times, the support legs of the modular ramp interfere with the permanent placement of irrigation system components. Our no-weld design makes working around these obstructions simple and easy. Our competitor's welded ramp components are affixed, and cannot be altered or modified. Redispan ramp components however, are easily disassembled and reassembled in the field, as needed.

Finally, it is important to note that the weakest part of a ramp assembly is the weld. Welding simply attaches two pieces of metal together, similar to the way glue connects two pieces of wood or paper together. Any stress applied to the component is primarily absorbed by the weld joint. At Redispan we bolt components together. The bolt travels through both pieces being connected, and locks down firm. This is a much stronger hold than a weld.

No Welds

  • Environmentally Friendly
    • No welding on our ramps means no energy being used to power industrial welding equipment, which conserves fossil fuel energy.
  • Cost Savings
    • Since we don't weld our ramps together, we don't have to employ highly trained industrial fabricators, which lowers our overhead, and allows us to pass the savings on to you.
  • Added Strength & Durability
    • The weakest part of any welded ramp is the weld joint itself. Over time, stress on this joint causes metal fatigue, and the weld can eventually fail.
